About the company
My name is Minho Shin, Professor of Computer Engineering Department of Myongji University, South Korea. I am a computer scientist, software developer, and EV-enthusiast. I have been participating in the ISO and IEC standardization working groups relevant to EV-charging since 2012.
I and my colleagues have been developing EV-charging communication protocols, test systems, and useful tools since then. We plan to continue our journey toward clean-transportation and I hope you join us.
our mission
Our mission is to provide useful information about understanding how EV-to-EV-Charger communication works based on ISO 15118 standard, and how you can implement the communication. We will provide the most correct and insightful instructions for understanding the standard. We will also discuss various issues regarding implementation. This is a non-commercial free service to everyone who is interested in EV industry, communication protocols, and developing EV or EV-Charger’s communication controllers, or IT hobbyist.
